OTHM Level 4 Dip in Tourism and Hospitality Management



The OTHM Level 3 (Introductory Certificate) is suitable for Student Members who are at the beginning of their careers. Candidates do not necessarily have to have experience of working in the industry at the outset of the course but, if they do not have this experience, students are expected to be working in the industry on a part-time basis during the course. The Introductory Certificate course allows candidates to acquire useful basic knowledge as a preparation for a career in the industry.

OTHM Level 4 Dip in Tourism and Hospitality Management

Unit 1: Understanding the Tourism and Hospitality Industry
Unit 2: Understanding the Tourism and Hospitality Business Environment
Unit 3: Understanding Communication and Customer Care in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry
Unit 4: Understanding Accounting and Finance in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry
Unit 5: Academic and Employability Skills
Unit 6: Understanding Events Management in Tourism and Hospitality


You must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course


2 hour exam comprising: 30 multiple choice questions and 2 essay type questions


On passing the OTHM Introductory Certificate Members will be eligible to be considered for OTHM OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management (QCF).
